Goa PSC published an employment news notification to fill up 19 vacancies in Assistant Professor in Neurology, Lecturer in Oral Medicine and Radiology, Junior Gynaecologist, Medical Offficer, Principal (Maritime School) and Dy. Town Planner posts. All these Govt. Jobs 2016 vacancies will be filled under various department of Goa state government. Following are the details about the govt. job requirement 2016 from goa psc.
I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
1. Assistant Professor in Neurology …… 1 post (2nd time)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than
Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of
1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least one year teaching and/or research
experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of
Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
NOTE: For candidate with Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) degree of three years duration, no experience is required.
II. GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
2. Lecturer in Oral Medicine and Radiology …… 1 post (resvd for OBC) (2nd time)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in
Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered
with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior
Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental
Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
III. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
3. Junior Gynaecologist …… 1 post
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate
qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate
degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position
connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
4. Medical Officer …… 12 posts (2 resvd for ST & 3 resvd for OBC)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than
Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule
should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (MedicoCirurgiao).
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
IV. CAPTAIN OF PORTS
5. Principal (Maritime School) …… 1 post (2nd time)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) S.S.C. or equivalent. (ii) Master or Mate (Home Trade). OR 2
nd Engineer M.O.T. OR 2
nd Mate (Foreign going) OR Diploma in ShipBuilding
Institute. OR Master Chief Petty Officer Gr. I or Gr. II from the Indian Navy OR Master Chief Mechanical Engineer Gr. I or Gr. II from
Indian Navy. (iii) Two years experience as Instructor in the Maritime School or similar Institute. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
V. TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING DEPARTMENT
6. Dy. Town Planner …… 3 posts (1 resvd for ST)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) Degree in Regional/Town Planning from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent. (ii) 2 years experience in a Planning or
architectural office. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Associateship of the Institute of Town Planners (India) or equivalent membership of a professional Institution. (ii) Experience in
the preparation of development plans (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in the case of candidates belonging to the
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the G.P.S.C. is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from
these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
