Application are invited from the candidates for appointment of following Teaching positions in Government of Tamil Nadu
Secondary Grade Teacher – 62 posts
B.T. Assistants – 30 posts in the Government Special Schools for the Differently Abled (Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired)
Deputy Wardens – 13 posts in Government Special Schools for the Differently Abled (Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired and Orthopaedically Handicapped). (will be posted anywhere in Tamil Nadu).
1. Name of the post & Scale of Pay : SECONDARY GRADE TEACHER (Schools for the Deaf) PB1 Rs. 5200 – 20200 + G.P.2800.

Qualification: Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test – Paper-I conducted by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu. Qualification: Must possess B.A., B.Sc., B.Litt. Degree from a Recognized University; and Must have completed Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test – Paper-II conducted by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Qualification: Must possess B.A., B.Sc., B.Litt. Degree from a Recognized University; and Must have completed Senior Diploma in Teaching the Blind and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test – Paper-II conducted by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

7. Name of the post & Scale of Pay : DEPUTY WARDEN (Schools for the Orthopaedically Handicapped) PB1 Rs. 5200 – 20200 + G.P.2800.
No of Vacancies: 4
Qualification: Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / Blind.

Candidates who belong to the above said communities, possessing the above said qualifications and age limit are requested to apply in the format published along with this advertisement by adhering to the following terms and conditions.
i) Applications can be neatly typed in white paper on one side of the paper in double line space.
ii) All applications should be sent to State Commissioner, Commissionerate for the Welfare Differently Abled, K.K.Nagar, Chennai -78, till 5.30 p.m. on or before 15.12.2015. Applications will not be accepted after the specified time limit.
iii) Candidates should attach the self attested Xerox copies of the following documents with their application. Otherwise the application will be summarily rejected.
a) Educational Qualification Certificate (8th passed certificate, S.S.L.C., or equivalent certificate & H.S.C.,)
b) Necessary technical education qualification certificates (i.e. Required U.G. / P.G. Degree certificate, Diploma in Teacher Education, Junior Diploma / Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / Blind)
c) Community Certificate
d) Employment Registration Card – Self attested Xerox copy
e) Transfer certificate obtained from the Institution where the candidate last studied.
f) Experience Certificate in relevant field.
g) Residential proof (Voter identity card or Ration card or Aadhar card)
h) Relevant documents should be enclosed for claiming under priority category.
iv) If no Qualified and suitable women candidates are available for selection against the vacancies reserved for them, those vacancies will be filled by male candidates belonging to the respective communal categories.
v) Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars which are false or suppress any material information in the application form. If it is proved that the information given by them are false, stern action would be taken.
vi) Candidates without having the prescribed educational & technical qualifications will be summarily rejected.
vii) Qualified applicants will be called for, certificate verification and interview and written test if necessary.
viii) No travelling allowance for the candidates attending the certificate verification, written test and interview will be granted.
ix) Selected candidates are liable to be appointed according to vacancies in any of the Districts.
x) Date of certificate verification and interview will be intimated later.
xi) Influencing / Canvassing in any manner will be a disqualification.

NOTE:1
Minimum General Qualification means
(1) A pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination with eligibility for admission to College Course of Studies in the Universities in this State; or
(2) A pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination of this State.
• Explanation-(i) A person who had appeared for 11 year S.S.L.C. Public Examination and obtained 35% marks in each subject either in one
sitting or compartmentally, shall be deemed to have passed the S.S.L.C. Public Examination.
• Explanation-(ii) A person who had appeared for 11 year S.S.L.C. Public Examination and had failed to obtain 35% marks in one or more
subjects, but who has appeared and obtained 35% marks in the corresponding subject or subjects in 10 year S.S.L.C. Public Examination, shall be deemed to have passed the S.S.L.C. Examination.
• Explanation-(iii) A person who had studied optional subjects in 11 year S.S.L.C. and failed in the optional subjects but had obtained 35% marks
in all other subjects expect the optional subjects in 11 year S.S.L.C. Public examination shall be deemed to have passed the S.S.L.C. Public
examination.
• Explanation-(iv) A person who had appeared and passed the X standard Government Examination conducted by the Board of Open School,
Tamil Nadu shall be deemed to have passed S.S.L.C. Public Examination.
NOTE 2: (1) In the Turn details, W-Woman; P-Priority; NP-Non-Priority; M-Muslims; TM-Tamil Medium
(2) If no qualified and suitable Women candidates are available for selection against the vacancies reserved for them, those vacancies will be filled by male candidates belonging to the respective communal categories.
