Applications are invited from the suitable candidates to work at University of Mysore for the following positions under Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence (PURSE) Program sponsored by Department of Science and Technology.

SI.No. POSITION ELIGIBILITY

1.Research Associates — one nos(Each Rs. 36,000/- pm consolidated )

PhD in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry Research experienced fellows from a recognized University with high quality published work in SCI Journals and or peer reviewed Journals.

2. Junior Research Fellow Five nos (Each Rs. 25,000/-pm + HRA – for NET qualified)

M. Sc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Food Science and Nutrition Candidates with M.Sc. in the above subject are eligible. NET qualified candidates qualified are preferred

3. Project Assistant — Five nos (EachRs.15,000/-pm consolidated )

M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Food Science & Nutrition /Genetics
• Above positions is purely temporarily for a period of Two years or tenable upto the end of the project. This service will not be considered as university service and coterminous with project period. The emoluments are on the consolidated bases only.

• Recent Bio-data, copies of certificates related to qualifications and experience, a set of recent publications etc., has to be sent in HARD COPY to Prof. V. • No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
