Applications on the prescribed Form are invited for filling up of the post of Research Associate on purely temporary basis co-terminus with the project, the details of which are given below:

Job Designation: Research Associate

Number of Post: 01 (One)

Pay Scale: Rs. 23000 – 24000/- per month plus HRA

Qualification: M.Sc. in forestry (forest products) or M.Sc. in forestry in other disciplines of forestry or M.Sc. in allied sciences (horticulture and agriculture).

Place of Work: Solan

The appointment will be made purely on temporary basis co-terminus with the project
concerned. The application form can be had from the office of the Department of Forest Products or
down loaded from the university website http:www.yspuniversity.ac.in. However, the said
application form will only be considered valid, if it is accompanied with a processing fee of Rs. 250/- for
General Category candidates and Rs. 63/- for reserved category candidates (along with attested copy
of ST/ST/OBC/PH candidate) in the shape of IPO/Bank Draft drawn on State Bank of Patiala/UCO
Bank, Nauni, Solan-173 230 (HP) payable to the Comptroller, UHF, Nauni, Solan. The Application form
complete in all respects should reach the Department of Forest Products, Dr Y.S.Parmar UHF, Nauni,
Solan – 173230 (HP) by 10th December, 2014 (before 5.00 PM) and the Interview will be held on
12.12.2014 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Dean, College of Forestry, UHF, Nauni, Solan.
Age Limit: i) Research Associate: Below 40 years for Men and below 45 years for Women.
ii) Relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST and OBC as per Govt. of India norms.
