ICAR-NRCB Recruitment 2016 SRF Posts Walk-in Interview 06.01.2016

ICAR – National Research Centre for Banana, Thogamalai Road, Thayanur Post, Trichy, Tamil Nadu conducts a walk-in Interview for following posts:

1. Name of the Project : ICAR funded project entitled “Development of diagnostic to viruses of banana under CRP on vaccines and diagnostics”.

Duration of the Project: Till March 2017

Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow

Number of Post : One

Emoluments : Rs.25,000.00 + 20% HRA per month (as per ICAR guidelines)

Essential Qualification: First class in Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology (Ag.) / Microbiology / Applied Microbiology / Biotechnology
Or
Master Degree in Microbiology (Ag.) / Applied Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Integrated degrees like B.Tech. and M.Tech (5 years)

2. Name of the Project : Ministry of Food Processing Industry sponsored project entitled “Developing Post Harvest Mechanization Package for Banana Central Core”.

Duration of the Project: up to March 2016, subject to extension up to June 2016.

Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow

Number of Post : One

Fellowship : Rs.16,000.00 + HRA @20% per month

Essential Qualification: First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Agriculture) with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology) / M.Sc. or M.Tech in Food
Science & Technology / Food Nutrition or in the relevant field of specialization.

Desirable : At least 1-2 years of working experience in the relevant field of specialization in reputed organization / institute and working knowled

Date & Time of the Walk-in Interview: 06.01.2016 (Wednesday) at 11.00 AM

General Terms and conditions:

1. Age limit: Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidates. Relaxation shall be applicable as per rules.

2. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of project. The selected candidate will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this institute.

3. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Candidates willing to attend the Walk-in-Interview should neatly type the application in the format prescribed in MS-WORD – TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT – 12 SIZE and submit the same along with attested copies of educational qualifications, experience and publications etc. at the time of attending the Walk-in-Interview. Original certificates and M.Sc. / Ph.D. thesis / dissertation should also be brought for verification at the time of Walk-in-Interview. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate” in case he / she is employed elsewhere.
