The Advertisement 01/2016 gives opportunity for Degree in Chemical Engineering./Metallurgical Engineering from a University/recognized Institution, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with adequate computer knowledge from a University/recognized Institution, Degree in any branch of Engineering with one year recognized Diploma in Materials Management OR Degree in any discipline with two years recognized PG Degree/Diploma in Materials Management OR MBA with specialization in Materials Management, MBBS Degree recognized by Indian Medical Council with 2 years relevant experience in a reputed hospital. PG degree will be an added qualification & Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a Government recognized Engineering College/Institution with minimum 60% marks (aggregate). Central Govt. Reservation of vacancies
a) SC/ST and OBC(NCL) Vacancies of SC/ST and OBC(NCL) candidates are reserved in accordance with Section 3 a(1) & (2) and Section B (1) & (2) both of Chapter II of Apprentices Act, 1961 read with Schedule it A of Rule 5 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
b) For Physically Handicapped : 3% of vacancies for Apprenticeship training are reserved in accordance with Section 3.6.Z Chapter III of Apprenticeship Training Manual.
Eligibility Criteria
a) Qualification : Matric/Std.X with a minimum of 50% marks for UR/OBC(NCL) candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates & ITI Examination in relevant Trade with aggregate of 60% marks qualified from NCVT(National Council for Vocational Training)
b) Agg : Minimum 18 years and Maximum 2S years as on 29.02.2016. Relaxation in upper age limit as per Government guidelines for 013G(NGL)/SG/ST candidates.
c) previous Training Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing
Apprenticeship under Apprentice Act, 1961 in any Govt./Public Sector/Private Industrial Organisation are NOT eligible
Stipend : Rs.4004/-, Rs.4576/- and Rs.5140/- per month depending on period of Apprenticeship training as per Gazette Notification No.492 dated 22.09.2014.
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be called based on the number of applications received and on merit basis. Preliminary selection is on the basis of marks obtained In Matriculation and ITI examination. Candidates placed in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained will be considered for Apprenticeship training in UCIL.
Accommodation: Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation during Apprentice period.
