notification for filling up of the post of Chief Medical Officer in V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust Tuticorin on Deputation basis – Regarding.

V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust. Tuticorin, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Shipping. Government of India, invites applications for the post of CHIEF MEDICAL OFFI-CER, (Head of Medical Department) (Class I on scale Rs. 43200- 66000) (Un-reserved) on Deputation basis.

2. Qualifications: Essential:

(i) M.B.B.S Degree from a recognized University
(ii) A Post graduate medical degree from a recognised University
(iii) Post qualification experience of thirteen years in a reputed Hospital in the relevant field of specialization.

3. For Deputation: For deputation, Officers holding Chief Medical Officer or holding the post of Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer and officers specialist posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 32900-58000 (Pre-revised Rs. 16000-20800) and above in the Medical Department with three years regu-lar service in the grade, in Govemment/Semi Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous bodies will be eligible.

5. Application not in the prescribed format and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Applications without attested copies of certificates/ testimonials of proof of age, qualification and experience as enclosures, will also be treated as incomplete and summarily rejected. 6. Officers working in Central Govemment / State Government / PSUs/ Autonomous bodies should forward the application through proper channel. Terms and conditions of Deputation will apply to the selected candidate.
