Ministry of Defence Ex-ITI Apprentice Recruitment notification May 2016:
The much awaited apprentice notification from Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Combat Vehicle Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi published today (21.05.2016) for apprentice training 2016-17.
Interested and eligible candidates who wants to secure central government of India training position can apply within 30 days from the day of publication of this advertisement.
CVRDE Ex-ITI Apprentice vacancy Details:
Applications in the prescribed formt are invited from Indian citizens for Ex-ITI Apprenticeship training in CVRDE., Avadi, Chennai-600054. Particulars of training and recruitments are given below:
Essential Qualification:
1. Ex-ITI candidates should be passed out from the Institute duly recognized by NCVT duly covered through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship with minimum two years duration except for the Welder (G &E) and Computer Operator and programming Assistant Trade. Welder (G & E) and COPA should possess one year ITI certificate recognized by NCVT. Candidates appearing/ appeared in the final examination of the essential qualification, are also eligible to apply based on their original Admit Card of the essential Qualification Examination, duly verified by the Establishment authority. Such candidates have to submit a certificate from Principal of the Institute, where from he/she had studied.

1. Fitter – 35 Posts
2. Turner – 7 Posts
3. Welder – 6 posts
4. Mechanic Motor Vehicle – 15 Posts
5. Electrician – 20 Posts
6. Machinist – 15 Posts
7. Carpender – 5 Posts
8. COPA (Computer Operater and Programming Assistant) – 25 Posts
9. Draughts Man – 10 posts
10. Auto Electrician – 2 Posts
Total no of vacancies – 140
Duration of Training – one year
Standard of Physical Fitness: As per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Stipend: For Welder & COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) *Rs.7767/- per month
For other Trades *Rs.8166/- per month (*Stipend DA is under increase)
No other allowances will be paid during the entire period of Apprenticeship training.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC & P.H (P.C) Candidates: As per the relevant schedule in the Rules under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Selection of Candidates: Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the performance during the personal Interview. Call Letter for interview intimation the datte, time and venue will be issued by the Establishment.
Offer & Acceptance of Employment: It shall not be obligatory on the part of the employer to offer any employment to any Apprentice after completion of training, nor shall it be obligatory for the Apprentices to accept any employment, if offered by the employer. The candidates are advised to get themselves familiarized with the Rules and Regulation under the Apprentice Act, 1961.
Application Fee, How to Apply, last Date & Address
i. The Application int he given format in the Advertisemnt, along with the requisite enclosures (copies of certificates etc) should be sent directly to ‘The Director, C.V.R.D.E, Avadi, Chennai-600054’.
ii. Two recent passport size photographs attested by any Central /State Govt, Gazetted OFficer or any other competent authority as per Govt. Rule and pasted firmly on Application form and Crossed Postal Order of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only) in favour of ‘The Director, CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai’, should be submitted along with the Application Form duly filled in by Candidate.
iii. No Postal Order is required for SC/ST & Physically Handicapped (PH)/ Physically Challenged (P.C) candidates.
iv. Envelope containing the Application Form must be superscribed in block letter “Application for Ex-ITI Trade Apprentice”.
v. Incomplete Application Form or Application Form received after the last date will be rejected automatically and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
vi. Apply through online web portal also visit http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in Register Apprentice details and apply Apprenticeship Training, Search Establishment as Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment State Tamilnadu District Thiruvallur.
Last Date: Last date for Receipt of the Application Forms at this Establishment is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
