Job Profile : Interfacial rheology in electrocoalescersinterfacial rheology using Intefacial shear rheometry, Langmuir Blodgett trough studies, Brewster angle, spinning drop to investigate crude oil-water electrocoalescors.

Candidates should have 2 years of research experience.

Job Profile : Project would involve conducting experiments in vesicles/liposomes when subjected to electric field with applications in electroporation/electrolusion.
P(13-3) ‘Dynamics of Particle Laden Turbulent Flows: Experiments and Modeling JAR (1 Post) Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with NET qualification or Graduate Degree In Professional Courses with NET / GATE qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. Good fluid mechanics background and skill in programming is desirable. Based on the performance candidates could be recommended for enrolment in PhD. Salary : Consolidated salary Z 25000/- p.m. Job Profile : Writing program on CFD using C/C+ +/ Fortran. Effective use and modification of existing open source CFD packages.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
P(13-4) Effects of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement on Rheological Properties of Binders
SRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Transportation Engineering with at least 2 years of post B.Tech research / teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals with strong knowledge on characterization of pavement materials (OR) M.Tech. In Civil Engineering/ Transportation Engines ring with strong knowledge on characterization of pavement materials. Experience Is required on dynamic shear rheometer. GATE qualification will be advantageous in this project. Age limit maximum 32 years.
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.14000/- p.m.
Job Profile : Exposure to hand on experiments on asphalt binders and pavement materials. A good background on asphalt binder theological tests, skill of interpretation of data and presentation of analysis, and fundamental knowledge of pavement materials/design are expected.
METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING & MATERIALS SCIENCE
P(13-5) Blood Pressure Measurement Device based on Flexible Organic transistors
SRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : 1. M.Tech in Material Science, Electrical, Electronic. Bio Sciences or Chemical Engineering with 2 years of research experience. The experience in device fabrication is essential. 2. B-Tech or M.Sc in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical. Electronic. BioScIences or Chemical Engg with NET qualification and 2 years of experience in research related to device fabrication. For all the above mentioned qualifications, the experience on sensors would be an asset.

Job Profile : 1. Organic thin film transistor fabrication and characterization. 2. Nanoparticle / Nanowire insertion into polymer matrix. 3. Micropatterning of polymer matrix. 4. Sensor Characterization.

JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with NET qualification or Graduate Degree In Professional Courses with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. Candidates with Metallurgy. Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Physics and Materials Science degrees only need apply. Candidates must know either C or C + + . Only candidates with first class in both Bachelors and Masters degree will be considered.

Job Profile: Multiscale modelling (phase field, dislocation dynamics and molecular dynamics) and experimental verification of plastic deformation induced twinning in copper and its alloys.
