Vacancy Details:
ENGAGEMENT OF NURSES & PHARMACISTS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS
Kandla Port Trust intends to engage Nurses and Pharmacists on contractual basis for its Hospitals at Gandhidham, Kandla and Vadinar and prepare a panel for future contractual engagement from the empanelled list.
I. Nurse
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must pass Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery OR B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized Institution and registered as Nurse with Gujarat Nursing Council or similar Council of any other state in India. The candidates, who possessed higher qualifications in the relevant field i.e. Post-Basic B.Sc.(Nursing), M.Sc. (Nursing) would be given preference.
Experience:
Minimum 2 yrs. post qualification experience as Nurse in a Major Port Hospital/Govt. Hospital/ 50 bedded Private Hospital of repute.
Age:
Age of the candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 1st June, 2016.
II. For Pharmacist
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must pass Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution and registered as Pharmacist with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council or similar Council of any other state in India. The candidates, who possessed higher qualifications in the relevant field i.e. B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy would be given preference.
Experience:
Minimum 2 yrs. post qualification experience as Pharmacist in a Major Port Hospital/Govt. Hospital/ 50 bedded Private Hospital of repute.
Age:
Age of the candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 1st June, 2016.
Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates shall be made purely on the basis of merit, qualification and experience. The candidates, who possess the higher qualification and experience, would be given preference. The candidates should clearly indicate the percentage of marks & Division which they secured, in the application form. However, in case of receipt of more applications, a qualifying test would be conducted to shortlist the number of candidates to be considered for contractual engagement.
Remuneration:
The selected candidates will be paid a fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs.23,950/-
Number of persons to be engaged:
The Management reserves the right to engage the number of persons on contractual basis i.e. upto 9 persons in the category of Nurse and upto 5 in the category of Pharmacist as per the requirement, from the empanelled list prepared for the purpose.
Period of Engagement:
The engagement would be purely on contractual basis for a period upto 11 months from the date of joining. On expiry of the said period, the contractual engagement will be automatically terminated. However, on expiry of the contract, KPT reserves the right to enter into a fresh contract for such period and on such terms and conditions as may be decided by the Port Trust. Mode of Application & Other Instructions Application containing detailed bio data including name, father/mother’s name, date of birth, permanent address, address for communication, phone no, email ID, Nationality, marital status, educational qualifications, details of experience, with two recent passport size photographs and photocopies of all testimonial should be sent to the Chief Medical Officer, Kandla Port Trust, Port Hospital, Gopalpuri, Gandhidham 370240, Gujarat, on or before 12.7.2016, in sealed envelope subscribed “Application for contractual engagement of Nurse / Pharmacist”. Application received
after the due date will be summarily rejected without further communication.
Only eligible applicants who fulfill the criteria of essential qualification, experience, age etc., prescribed for respective position shall only apply. Separate application shall be submitted for each position in case the candidate wish to apply for two or more category of posts.
he Management reserves the right to cancel or make any changes in the number of vacancies, alteration/ additions/deletions of any clause in the Terms and Conditions for any of the position (s) in the selection process, if need arises, without further notice and without assigning any reasons thereof.
The candidates should clearly indicate the percentage of marks in the application form. If CGPA grading is mentioned in the mark sheet, the candidate shall be responsible for converting the said grading into accurate percentage as per the criteria adopted by the respective University/Institution.
The post qualification experience will be reckoned as experience for eligibility to the respective posts.
